Use a blush to give your face a healthy look and not just to paint it!

This means that the color must blend into your skin once you place it. The intensity should remind a flush of shame and fit your skin tone (warm or cool).

If your skin is light and cool choose soft pink, soft beige or peachy shades for as long as your skin remains pale during the winter.

In summer go on with the same shades but in more intense tones and slightly pearl textures that will bring out the soft tan that light and fair skins usually get. Do not hesitate to try on shades of fuchsia which is an incredible color for cool skin tones!

If your skin is warm and dark, then a warm pearl brown, a dark red, and the color of mandarin will give your skin a healthy glow and flatter you a lot!

I also want to point out that you should save the last touch of your blush after you've put on your lipstick. This will help you with its volume so as to keep it in balance with the lipstick. When your lipstick has a vivid color, the intensity of your blush should be two tones lower than the lipstick.

In case of a more colorless lipstick give your blush an extra touch without exaggerating!

My opinion is not to use terracotta for blush.

You can do this in case of a tanned skin with a pearl and slightly red-shaded terracotta.
